what did you use to "form" the letters?

Do you have any advice on getting the letters out? I've recently done several and after 4 attempts have still not been able to get an "S" out without it breaking.

Are the moulds for cakes or ice cubes? I have had trouble with other shapes using silicone moulds so I have greased them with PAM before melting. Seemed to have worked but would LOVE to try the names for a loot bag idea.

How thck was the ice cube trays? Was it a standard size? How many boxes of crayons do you need to make for example a 5 letter name

They were small letters out an inch high, so only needed a couole of crayons for a name : )
