If I Were a Librarian ...
... then all of my shots would look like this. Not really. There were so many silly titles for this one, and man was this FUN!
I ended up having to do my 365 at work, and I was cursing myself until one of our bar men was goofing around in his friend's glasses. I stole them, ran to the bathroom, and snapped away for a couple of minutes, very scared that a customer would walk in at any moment and see ... well, this.
I need these. They rock. And I swear I never knew how to pout until I put the Magic Glasses on. OK, I'm late for bed ... more tomorrow no doubt ... Hey, it's 365 after all!
PS Isn't it weird how my right hand is all elegant-looking [for me] but my left looks twisted and uncomfortable. Ah! The plight of the left hand!
PPS As you can see ... the Cactus V2 remote trigger is pretty much glued to my camera now. I like that :-)

These are really cool glasses. I wish my glasses could make me pout that way. I think you should always wear and only take them off when you want to change in your alter ego (translucent woman with the perfect curves ;-) )
BTW, what do you use to trigger you remote flash? I'm very interested in the strobist.com thing but the pocket wizards they often mention are extremely expensive. The device you use, does it use radio waves or infrared?

smeert: the Cactus V2s are pretty good - and awesome for the price. I need to upgrade to Pocket Wizards eventually - especially for my pro wedding gigs - but the V2s are perfect for any kind of low-pressure stuff. They've had a lot of bad press, with lots of mis-firings ... and while it may be true, changing out all the batteries for fresh ones now means I get 99% of the shots. I talked them down before (here, in fact), but I hadn't swapped out all of the batteries yet ...

Personally, I have never had a misfire with my first set of Cactus V2 triggers. So successful in fact that I purchased two more remotes to compliment my first set. Sadly, the second set of triggers have never fired. I intend to try one of the antenna mods to see if that rectifies the problem.

The glasses add to the photo's intent, but it's the look and attitude that put this photo over the top. You have a lot of actor in you and it shows in photos like this. Quite an amazing ability.
