The hardest part of this challenge was choosing the what color to choose, then the rest came together nicely. I sketched it out and focused on using several techniques I've used in the past: raw edged ruffles, machine applique, quilt-as-you-go and free motion pebble quilting. I was inspired by Anthropologie, winter, cloud-scapes, texture and randomness. Fabrics used were: Terry Cloth, Kaffe Fasset satin, woven linnen, Kona solid light gray, mini corduroy, solid white, assortment of white/gray patterns, Basic Gray's ruled paper (also used for binding binding) and backed with a subtle gray-white striped fabric.
