Treasures

Treasures by the mighty jimbo.
My grandfather (father's side) gave this to me when I was about four years old. It's a Native American spear head he had found on his property in Norwalk back fifty or sixty years ago.

I've been trying to find a better way to present it than keeping it in a bag in a drawer in a dresser for a couple or three decades.

Suggestions?

My grandfather gave me some as well. I used to go hunting for them when I was little.. such amazing things to find!

I have mine in a shallow clay bowl with sand in it.. looks really cool. My house is all earthy though.. not sure if it would fit into your decor. But.. its a suggestion!

buy a shadow box (i think that's what they're called) or buy one of those frames you can buy for putting, like, signed sports jerseys and things in. those have more depth to them than regular picture frames.

Search RIKER MOUNT and you'll find some inexpensive and much safer soloutions for that. They come in all sizes and are what you sometimes see butterflies or other insects in for display at museums.
I have several filled with points from family property and they work great.

i dig the bowl idea. shadow boxes might work, but mostly the look i see is very ...well...doll house.

maybe in a thicker frame with a LOT of matting.

Try Tom Davis Artifacts they sell very nice oak, cherry etc. frames for just this purpose, however most are larger size though.
