I made a cheat sheet to help me remember how to properly expose using manual mode. All the images are public domain, so I thought I'd share with everyone else. Feel free to download, print, use, and otherwise utilize this sheet to improve your manual control. XD

Very nicely done! I linked back to it from my EV chart that goes hand and hand with this guide.

Still needed with a built in light meter?

Do you always shoot at what the meter tells you to without thinking? Or how about this: Would you trust a 40-year-old meter to always get the right reading?
I'd say it's still necessary (but the sunny 11 RoT is more useful)

Built in light meter? People use that thing? Anyway, yes, when your into getting it right in the camera, you still need to use this instead of that light meter. I shoot in manual a lot and go by this rule and then manually add in fill as needed (either flash or reflectors).
