Canada Post

Canada Post has now removed the letter carrier relay boxes in Oakville Ontario as they have switched to the new delivery system where every Letter Carrier is mobile working out of a vehicle.

However they have left behind the concrete bases the relay boxes stood on.

These are not poured concrete bases but are actualy patio stones.

Someone went to the trouble of detatching the boxes from the bases and then leaving the bases behind rather than removing the boxes with the bases still attached.

Can any one explain the logic of this to me?

Only if it is available in abridged version pop up picture book format for burnt out retired Letter Carriers. I did enjoy "Post Office" by Charles Bukowski back when I still had some of my faculties. ‹(•¿•)›

Hmmm, they aren't on concrete bases here in Vancouver. Perhaps because it doesn't snow enough out here?

They were not all on concrete bases just the old type without the sand filled bases.

This type was on concrete bases.
