View on black please!
I don't usually take landscapes. Most of my shots tent to be architecture or street / photojournalism. I think this is simply due to living in the city and being a city person. I really like taking landscapes (I need more practice), but I don't get the chance often.
I'll try and practice them more when I travel, although this doesn't mean I'll be giving up on taking photos of famous landmarks! I maybe be doing travel photography, but I'm first and foremost a tourist!
Anyway, my recent trip to Hungary was for a music festival. Not my usual one, but an almost exclusively Hungarian one. It was in a place called Várpalota, in Veszprém megye (country). During a lull in one of the festival nights, I took the hire car and followed some random roads into the countryside (which wasn't too far at all).
There's not too much to this photo, but I kind of like it's simplicity. Plus, it's the first of these type of shots that I've attempted, so it was enjoyable in that respect.
I think this photo looks better larger on black (press L), but I'm not too sure. Give it a go anyway.
