Christmas card that I made in 09'. I turned off all the lights and threw my son in a onesie with a Santa hat and booties then grabbed some lights, and ..... poof! Magic
This photo was really easy to do considering he was so focused on the lights. I also set my camera setting at high resolution.

I love your photo! I've tried unsuccessfully with my little camera to get photos in low light like that with jack-o-lanterns or christmas lights. Well I've purchased an SLR and a lens good for portraits so I hope to get better pictures this year, but I'm just learning. Do you mind sharing your photo secrets for this one, like the aperature and shutter speed? Thanks!

Thank you. If I remember correctly, I had it set on high resolution and it was set on manual. It did take me a while to get the right picture. I took about 75 photos.
