Is this from the waterfront/beachfront in Waikiki?

When on vacation with my partner, we created a big collage of the tree, consisting of about 40 photos.

Hi Bill, I live in Singapore. Except possibly at the zoo, I don't think there can't be many banyan trees left. It's a concrete jungle here. I enjoyed playing tarzan when I was young by using a hanging root of a banyan tree. Decided to use your pix as illustration here:http://najtravels.blgspot.com

      I love banyan trees too.
      Thanks

      Cheers

Shock of instant recognition...I run by this tree every day. It's in Kapiolani Park, right near my home in Waikiki.

We have a lot of this kind of species in the Philippines, we called it "Baliti". We used it as an ornamental plant when it is just yet very small. I love it.
