Zavvi were hit by distribution problems when Woolworths went bust. They managed to last another couple of months, but closed in Sheffield in February 2009. The shop was a prime location at the top of Fargate - hope it doesn't stay empty for long.
In case HMV's lawyers are reading, I have no proof that HMV are killing kittens for profit (though they are in my bad books for not reopening the Sheffield branch of FOPP, when they reopened stores in Manchester/ Nottingham etc)
