Sebring 2009-Mar-21

The annual 12 hours at Sebring, always a great running of prototypes and various classes of vehicles, including Corvette (still GT1, although that may be changing) as well as Porsche, Ferrari and others (GT2). I shoot mostly from the Corvette Corral just behind the starting line and the last curve as well as the Turn 7 Harepin (hard to catch a spin-out).

When viewing the pictures taken from the Corvette Corral (just behind the last turn and viewing the starting line), you'll notice the pixels really get almost "watercolor like." That's not the camera, but the Florida heat and vapors. Some pictures really show it off (with closer cards that are more clearly visible while farther ones have the haze like the rest of the background).
