Business cards - presented

Business cards - presented by The Bottomless Paddling Pool.
These are some business cards I made using only a colour toner photocopier, some card and an ink stamp. On one side are my details (the ink stamp) and on the other are small patches of a painting of mine I photocopied. As I am sharing a stall at Craft 2.0 tomorrow I will transport and display them in these cool coloured cassette cases.

Check out the next pic along to see all the cards lined up to make the whole 'graphic design'

Here is a link to the painting I photocopied.

Sorry about the bad pic, energy saver light bulbs and I couldn't find a tripod! Bad combo.

You are one inventive creative person. I love these cards, and hope to acquire one when / if we ever trade artistic creations.

You repurposed cleverness really is something I am also connected to.

I have an old typewriter, but getting the ribbons is tough! So it sits there unused. Bummer.

I bett you know how to make your own ribbons...its would not surprize me at all.

I've been thinking about the making of new ribbons and I have a couple of ideas. I'm not sure if they'd work as all my typewriters have genuine ribbons so I don't really need to experiment, yet. If you already have a ribbon but it's dried up just squirt it with a little bit of stamp pad ink, wait a few days and voila! You should have like-new printing again, but beware, too much ink and you're screwed. Only use a little amount.

Now that is an idea! I didn't think of that! Some ribbons in tytpewriters are so worn out...the threads and fabric ribbons have nearly holes in them. It would reall by cool to make a ribbon and wind it up huh?

When I think of the AWESOME typewriters I have passed up for really cheap (a 1920s one for $10.00 I am so mad! But its because I could not find the ribbons, and I did not have ebay or the internet at the time.

I've used the ribbon from old dot matrix printer cartridges to replace the tattered typewriter ribbon, plus if you can find one new it will be inked.
