yes historygradguy, the attacks commenced late last night and have been going on ever since. It'll be dawn in about an hour. The city is kinda asleep but the cops and our army and navy are working towards it. This is the biggest attack on Mumbai in the fifteen years. We've had others, but not as severe, not as intense, not as orchaestrated.

Alex, Josh, Justin, Kanad, Aust, Miami... thank you so very much. The residents in general are stationed at home and relatively safe. Our stock market, offices, schools and colleges are shut today. We (authority included) still have no clue about who did it and what was the reason for all this.

We've had blasts and terror attacks before...but nothing planned with such intricacy and the city has never been this calm, ever.

What is the current situation?? There are a ton of conflicting news reports here in South Africa.. Is the hostage situation continuing as well? This is just so sad.. Innocent people..

Its really a shame.. Any building can be rebuilt, Any car can be replaced.. but.. The lives lost could never be refunded.. :(..

Hey everyone... thank you very much for your wishes... i stay an hour away from the area under siege and will heading there in some time now... things are relatively under control though you never know what happens in mumbai!
i'm going with my Ma who has her office there... we intend to be back by the evening...
