For each week of the internship, I will post a photo from the week, as well as a list of things that I am grateful for. I believe that gratefulness is a great way to remember and give glory to God's work in our lives.

I am grateful this week for a bike ride to downtown. I hadn't been on my bike in a while since with the short days there is little time to go out during the week and the weekends have been full.
I am grateful for a night of dinner and games with our youth staff team. I really love our team. It is such a blessing to work with them. I love the joy we share, the laughter. It is a gift from God to have such a strong group of people all together, desiring to love our youth and also to care for each other and build each other up.
I am grateful for being able to go to bed early a few times this week and for how that is so good for me!
I am grateful for baking, for gingerbread men and peppermint mocha cookies :)
I am grateful for a fun Christmas party with the youth, for cookie decorating, for wii games, for nachos, for silly times. I am grateful that one of my mentees and her sister showed up!! It was great to be able to catch up with her!
I am grateful for a fun night out at the Grove, with its beautiful lights and atmosphere, and grateful for a delicious dinner :)
I am grateful for Christmas gifts and Christmas cards, both giving and receiving them! (Thanks to all who have sent me cards, I deeply appreciate them!)
I am grateful that our office knows how to be silly and that our boss let us leave work early yesterday, because it allowed me to get some errands done that I will not have to feel rushed about doing later this weekend.
I am grateful for God's provision in my life of a job, of good friends, community, good coworkers, partners in ministry, and much more. I am blessed.
