Chantal Bracelet

Chantal Bracelet by TheBeadDreamer.
Truthfully, I had never heard of operculum shells until I found these beads and then did some research on them. I bought them because they were beautiful, unusual, felt wonderful to the touch, and had such soft and lovely colorations. I found out that operculum shells are little lids for larger shells and just love them.

I matched them up with other beads to accent their earthy beauty and coloration. The beads I chose – amazonite, Soo Chow jade, crystal, and faceted glass. I hope you find this handcrafted creation to be a tribute to some lovely little shells found on a beach somewhere and think of beautiful locations when you wear it.
