The wind turbine's blades are taking a break.. hope they return to transmission soon. The ridges of Mt Victoria and Miramar can be seen, and Eastbourne lies across the harbour.

at the turn off to the windturbine, beside the automatic gates, there is a carpark. There's a path leading away to the west there. That leads to the old guns. it's about 10 minutes walk on a gentle slope. the path over looks the Aro Valley far below.
