seriykotik1970, without knowing it you changed me world. I have never forgotten this shot and have long dreamed of a fitting tribute. While this shot needs a little work to perfect it, for me it has a similar emotive quality to yours.

And tomorrow I finish my Masters.

A fitting image for Armistice day, and nice shalllow depth of field.

I used a magnifying glass as close-up filter, with the lens wide open, at f 2.8- so interesting to see you used f 16. It looks like the depth of field is pretty shallow with the filter whatever the aperture.

I must get some of that Diafine- from what I've read it's the easiest of all developers to use. I'll have to pay a visit to Silverprint when I am back in London for Christmas.
