The passing years bring change.

The passing years bring change. by the_wolf_brigade.
Pentax 645n, 75/2.8, Kodak Ektachrome EPY 64T@80ASA Expired 07/1997, f6.7@1/60.

Taken specifically for the latest Thematorium theme of Change. I took a similar digital shot of this last year (since deleted) and had been wanting to get a film version. Finally the seasons changed and it is Spring again....

that's some crazy colours... i saw some 64T the other day at Ted's... well, to be precise, one lonely roll in the fridge.

thought about it, then decided against it...

Thank you. The standard lens on this camera truly is phenomenal.

I rated it at 80ASA as I was going to Xpro it, but when I took it in the lab guy convinced me not to, saying that this roll would make a complete batch combined with my other rolls, and that meant slides tomorrow...so glad I took his advice. I think I've got 4 rolls of 35mm left. How much was it selling for?

Fantastic composition. Is that furnace building as cool up close as it is from a distance? I'm loving its shape!

really nice, somehow there is nothing like shooting film....(kind of like the totally different sound of vinyl Lp's compared to Cd's)

I was just in Vanbar about half an hour ago...

A 100ft bulk roll of 64T, expired in 2006 but kept in the fridge, for $55.

Someone should haul arse down there and grab themselves a bargain...

Thanks!

It is very interesting, though I'm finding it challenging to capture what it means to me. I'm trying to move away from just shots of the building and more about the "feel". That being said, the place itself does make for a good shot.

I still need to get a belt for my record player :)

Thanks mate. I've got heaps of stuff for it now, but I'm thinking of moving the collection outside of just this park to incoporate Lithgow as a whole. I've started, but I've yet to put any of the other stuff up - the roll is still in the Olympus Trip 35 :D

It certainly does have it's appeal. I think if you hadn't shot that roll I might have sold what I had.

Well I still have 4 35mm rolls left, and 100 feet of Ektachrome duplicating film (ISO 12) but I understand it performs similar to tungsten balanced film...
