Oscar Meyer Weinermobile - not so fast

From this weekend's Cub Scout Pinewood Derby race. One of our household's entry was the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. This was a "sibling" entry that I built with my son - the Weinermobile, however, was not so fast (middle of the pack) but would have won the most impressive crash had there been a prize. Jumped the track on the first run but went on to place a solid 3rd or 4th in the other 5 heats.

Camero v. Hershey Bar

From this weekend's Cub Scout Pinewood Derby race. My son's car is the blue Camero w/ Black stripes. Just edging out the Hershey Bar for 4th place. Once again - a solid 3rd or 4th place finish. Of course, we didn't go for the $25 wheel and axle replacement kit or spend 30 hours refining the car speed - we just had some fun in the garage making a car - what it's all about.
