bored.

So this weekend I decided to rest.

For over a month now I've been getting sick off and on because I haven't been giving myself enough time to recover from whatever bug has enslaved my immune system . I seem to be finding myself choosing to go out and have fun to all hours of the morning as soon as my body gives any indication of being healthy, then in two days time I get sick again.

I decided enough is enough so this weekend I chose (for this reason and many more) to lock myself away and not leave the house for extended periods of time. To accomplish this, I turned off MSN/AIM/gTalk, switched off both mobile phones and avoided Twitter like the plague. It seemed to be the best thing to do - if I didn't know what was happening out there, I wouldn't be tempted to go out and join the rest of the world.

I have to say, this has got to be the most boring weekend ever to be had.

It is now late Sunday afternoon and I feel like this exile has done a tiny bit to help the situation - perhaps I should extend this sabbatical till the weekend when I have to shoot the Parklife music festival.

Or perhaps I should just shoot myself in the head as I *really* can't survive another day of doing absolutely nothing.
