Victorian Death and Mourning

Victorian Era postmortem or death photography has been an interest of mine for several years now. More recently I have expanded my collection a bit to include a small selection of memorial and remembrance images - photographs taken of the subject in life and later enhanced or altered in some way after their death to signify and commemorate their passing. I am planning to add several to many more scans in this section eventually (maybe), so be sure to check back. Also, please keep in mind that all scans in all of my Flickr sets are made from originals in my personal collection.
