Woodcock ca. 1942

Woodcock ca. 1942 by TFM.
For the Where Am I In BC Group.

For more Woodcock pictures click here.

Update: I found the place!! I will post a 'then and now' pair here once the location has been guessed. But, it looks almost identical today as it did in 1942. The house is the same. The ridge line is the same. The wood in front is gone and the fence has changed. Guess away!

(Oh, and it's not Endako.)

Original note: Can anyone identify this place? It is likely along the railroad between Prince George and Prince Rupert, BC.

Not Suskwa, Murray Rudge, Smithers, or New Hazelton.

But, moving down the line is a good approach for solving this one.

As an aside, here's a funny line that came up when I googled South Hazelton on a preamble for some dating site, I guess :D
"Meet thousands of local singles in the South Hazelton, British Columbia dating area today. Find your true love at Matchmaker.com."

My buddy and I were looking for the Woodcock Station (which is gone now) when we were surprised to see that house. We had been looking for it too but had no idea it was in Woodcock.

Thanks for all the guesses and comments, everyone.
