Desert moisture

Rain from some monsoon moisture managed to cool the desert near Needles to 106 degrees for a moment. But that didn't last long. Shortly thereafter it jumped back up to 109.

Wow, I was complaining about 88 degrees. Stunning clouds. Have you been able to get a new camera yet? My 7000 was a lemon but luckily they traded it for a new one - we'll see how that works.

This is from the point-and-shoot I was given for my birthday. My family wanted to get me something. This does the job with landscapes for now. Hopefully someday I'll have a nice Nikon digital SLR to work with again.

Nice capture. Those cells can be really violent. Ask me how I know!
