Living Room HDR (By Hand)

Living Room HDR (By Hand) by Terretta.
Lights lightened, darks darkened, trying to look less HDR. I'm much happier with this. Darkening (and desaturating) the sofas and piano was easy. On the other hand, whitening the walls took several hours thanks to fussy details like the cactus on the hearth.

Q. Which do you like better?

Update 28 Aug:
A. This one, according to Flickr. So I've replaced the other one from TOP HDR with this one.

I like this one more because it looks less HDR. :)

When viewed large, this non-HDR look, combined with the wide angle, makes you think you are actually inside that room.

Thanks Johny Day.

@emmedibi33: No, but I purchased the home from a lifetime professional architect who built it for himself.

Wow! Great livingroom, but even greater HDR! I prefer this one over the previous one. You might be interested in my last tutorial post, The Soft Tree. I also do the photoshopping of the finished HDR, to remove too much darkness, or to make darker, or too much saturation, or add some in the Soft Tree's case.

Nice work! I like how you toned down the HDR. I don't like the glaringly over-HDR'ed stuff. You can still tell this is HDR, but it looks much more natural. The tones are beautiful, as is the house and the composition. What a gorgeous place to live...you are lucky!

I really, really like this. I'm a sucker for anything wide angle, but the HDR is incredible. I don't like a lot of the overdone, fake-looking HDR stuff you see a lot these days, but this is awesome. Nice work!
