Nepathya is one of the most famous Nepali bands. It plays folkrock, a combination of traditional tunes and modern adaptation. The band has contributed a lot to charity work in Nepal, raising money for good causes such as primary education and facilities of the disabled.

The folk-songs Nepathya plays are collected by Armit during his treks around the country. "Collecting folk music is my main interest. People are moving to towns and cities and the communities are dying. And when they die, the music dies with them. My collection is my work for the future generations."
