The dark blues are really powerful and strong in this image,
then there are those lovely soft pinks and light blues that just relax the whole picture.
the dark rocks look like they are floating on the water
mimicking the clouds floating above them
the small rippled lines in the water make me think of a Van Gogh painting
they create movement in this still shot.
The two dark 45 degree angles on the right of the image
make the whole picture have a diamond effect
a pure beauty, so clear and so precious
The calm Light of the becoming night ;)
    it's a beautiful shot teo,
    It is simply beautiful
I love the way you capture beauty <3
Thank you for another fantastic photo <3

Courtney says it very well. I would add that I see the ace of spade that you reference in your title, laying on its side with the cloud being one half and its reflection in the water the other half. Is that where you drew the title from? I think this is amazing symmetry and you certainly have the eye for finding nature's beauty.

I really like the dominant blue and dark colors with just a hint of purple softening the darkness. Well done my friend!

    Great dynamic range Teo matey!

  31. Teo Morabito (5 days ago | reply)

    Hey Gary :)
Yea thats how i got the title, The colors on the clouds were weird, very different from the other days, and you could clearly see the spade, so, thats one of a few shot i just grabbed and din't mess with much in post hehe.
I may add that i was bare foot on a coral reef in the middle of the sea haha, still hurts, but, was worth it I think :D
Thanks for your comment and fav Gary, much appreciated.

thanks Daz, I must say, the D800 keeps impressing me days after days :)
I guess, shooting RAW really shows up with the increased dynamic range,
Note that, thats one of my first shot in RAW hahaha. Not that easy on the computer (300mb psd files minimum) but well, whats the point of having super fast computers if I would just use it as a netbook hehe.
Oh and, I like your Bird timelines, well done !

  33. Gary.Lamprecht (5 days ago | reply)

Sorry, but I had to LOL at the coral reef statement. I guess the more you put into your work, the more you appreciate what it is that makes it art...which explains why your images are works of art, and mine are just photos. I'm the type that would've said I'm not going to risk cutting my feet for a picture (at least that's my common sense talking to me right now)! Keep up the great work and your web site is pretty cool!

haha I am glad someone else laughed at how dedicated teo is to his work....probably one of the ways teo inspires me. And your lovely comments gary always motivate me :)
