Tomorrow's gonna come too soon
My baby sister, on her wedding day. Weddings are a completely different affair as a parent, there are a whole new set of feelings. I'm six years older than her, not her parent by any means, but it was a very emotional day for me. She's not the child she once was............

{little things}
I didn't manage to find the time to get a photo of anything scary...so this will have to do. Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and got lots of yummy candy to eat until Christmas!
I'd planned on a scary photo with secrets of things I was afraid of, so I'll just pretend this cute photo is scary and go on ahead.
Secret #20: I'm afraid of....
Losing a child. I don't think I need to elaborate, my world would end, period. I thank God for my children because I know He is the One who gave them to me, and my world is forever better because of His gifts to me.
Heights, I hate bridges and looking out windows of tall buildings, yet I've flown around the world. Hmm.
Bugs, hard to imagine right!?! Not ants (except fire ants now after my visit to Houston) or a roly poly or something, but moths (eww), spiders (triple eww), bees, etc etc just creep me out.
Failure. But I'm also afraid of being too afraid of failure to not try something.
Disappointing someone I love. Worse, disappointing myself.
Not being a good mom in my children's eyes. One thing I want to do is I always want to do my best to participate in things they like. If it means going on a roller coaster that loops 1,053 times, well, I'll figure it out when I get there I guess, but I would try. If they like baseball, I'll be there. Same with wrestling, or fencing, or chess, whatever it might be.

Secret #17: My sister got married the 18th and I just want her to be happy but I wanted her to know marriage is hard, not all honeymoon and happy days. I really hope she and her new husband get off to a good start because a good foundation makes a big difference. It's hard for a big sister to say she doesn't worry about her little sister, and if I did, it would be a lie.
Secret #18....changing directions....One of my biggest pet peeves is when I'm driving in a parking lot and I stop to wait for someone to cross when they're going into or coming out of the store and after seeing that I stop they take their *sweet a$$ time* getting across. Nothing makes me more upset. Whenever someone waits for me, if I can't jog, I pick up the pace quite a bit, even if I'm holding a boy. These people that are by themselves, no kids, no bags, no nothing that take like a year and a half to walk 15 feet drive me INSANE. I'm a patient person, sometimes :P and it isn't the time thing that bothers me, it's very rude I think. Sometimes I just want to honk when they do this. Someday (soon) I think I'll get irritated enough that I just might. Look out holiday shoppers, you better not diddle doddle across the crosswalk if I'm waiting for you. That is in my top three biggest pet peeves of all time, if not #1.
Secret #19: To end on a positive note, lets talk pets. I've had several pets growing up. A few cats, my dog, but also I had an Alaskan husky for a while. She was a puppy when I got her and she was a good dog but just too hype for my preteen-self and needed a bigger area to run around in than our back yard. I also had a horse, the baby actually of a horse my mom had owned at one point. I didn't have her long either before I sold her to a family friend but it was cool because she was mine when she was young. Sometimes I still wonder how she is.
Sorry I've been so absent, with the wedding and other sessions and school I'm fresh out of free time. :(

Secrets...
Since I'm falling behind, here's a few secrets, nothing too juicy but little tidbits ;-)
#10: I am scared to death of heights
#11: Despite #10, I love flying. I do pray on every flight, especially at take off and landing, and I think everyone should.
#12: I have a BIG sweet tooth, I love Double-Stuff Oreo cookies...YUM. I also love M&M's, Reece's Pieces or Peanut Butter Cups as far as candy goes, and every once in a while a Milky Way bar, I better stop there.
#13: Thankfully, despite #12 I don't have any fillings. I had one tiny cavity starting after I got pregnant with Conner but none since then. So this sugar-loving woman remains filling free, and I plan to keep it that way!
#14: I can't deal with "common sense challenged" people very well, for lack of a better word. Everyone has oops moments but some people are just not with the program. They call it common sense for a reason. If only they sold it in stores for those lacking it to be able to purchase it the world would be a better place.
#15: I grew up hating tomatoes but liking ketchup, now I love tomatoes and hardly eat ketchup.
#16: I ate frog legs when I was in China, not on my own free will, but at a delicacy restaurant someone treated us too so I did as not to be rude. They're kinda like chicken as far as taste, just a bit, uh, slimier. Eww. I'm sure there's far worse but I'll never have those again.
I'll be catching up soon! Had a busy week and weekend last week....
