to answer teamdoscoverychanelle: to get this kind of look you need a fisheye lens. For the location, I just stopped right in the middle of the crossing (I'm not proud of disturbing the flow of people but I really wanted that shot...) and raised my camera as high as possible...

Your close-to-fisheye angle captures the spirit of Akihabara very well. I tried many times to get this place in pictures, but I was never satisfied with the result. Yours is a quite interesting take on the subject. The sky looks fake and patched in, but that's good for this subject.
