    It's amazing how little has changed, really, since 1953. Even the dry cleaner is still in place. But gas prices are sure more expensive.

      Very cool! I love comparisons like that.

      Around Melbourne in the city centre they have a few signs with historical information and photographs from the turn of the century (19th to 20th, that is!) - I always feel compelled to stop and look at them.
