Gee, two classics. The car and the old style Safeway facade.

I tend to be a purist when it comes to old cars. I like original wheels and wheel covers.

oh man, i had one of these when i was a 19 or so. bought if for $500. It had a push-button transmission and i could fit the entire band in it plus all of our gear. One of the best cars i have ever owned. it had soooo much glass in it. Unfortunately one of the pistons seized on thanksgiving morning on the way up to see the parents, so i had to park it to deal with later. When i came back a few days later to pick it up it had been stolen never to be seen again.

these were released in Australia and NZ as the Valiant (no plymouth - Valiant was the marque), with the wagon variant being the Valiant Safari - this model being released in 1966 with a slightly different rear end styling. Oh yeah, the Slant 6. www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&token=& sql=10:j...

Nice! I also saw a Valiant (original wheels! :) outside of a supermarket. Maybe it's their natural environment.
