I've also found that logo nicely straddles the amusing and the creepy. It's like what one of Bond's supervillians would have as a logo - except with *blood*

I always liked that logo. My mom used to be a store manager for Sherwin Williams. It's good to see that they went back to that logo... for awhile they dropped it.

As a kid I was always vaguely disturbed by that logo when I'd go to the hardware /lumber store with my dad. I don't want the earth covered with paint!
It does remind of the bumper sticker I once saw on a giant boat of a 1970's Cadillac in Los Angeles, which read "Pave the Planet."
