I've always wanted to try a shot of a burning light bulb, but never gotten it quite right before. Today's shoot wasn't exactly perfect (I ran out of bulbs by the time I finally had everything set up just the way I wanted), but I got some stuff I liked. This one's definitely my favorite of the bunch.
SB-25 to camera right lighting the smoke, triggered by Radiopopper JrX triggers and with a cardboard gridspot on. The arm holding the bulb was also originally on the left side, but I decided I liked it more on the right...so there was a little GIMP involved.
