The pond is shallow and at the time it had been 80 for days. The water was about 75 and felt great. It's getting pretty cold now though. Should snow any day, especially since I don't have my studded tires on yet.

Ah,whew. I was hoping she wasn't going to go into cardiac arrest upon hitting the water. I splashed about in a glacial lake that nearly killed me, though I never went in above the knees. Something about the combination of visible snow in the background and water that takes the breath away, ya know?
