thanks but no thanks, AirTran.

thanks but no thanks, AirTran. by technicolorcavalry.
had a lovely 15 minutes of watching my plane sitting at the terminal while airtran's fabulously incompetent employees refused to let us board our flight. instead of calling the crew or pilot and asking them to let us board in the quarter hour we had, the ticket guy spent that time looking for a "customer service specialist," would be better equipped to do nothing for us...

cheap fares, low cost to the public, whining passengers, minimal staff to save money, this is what we have become. the top people at airtran make the decisions on where to place people. There are not enough trained employees to handle every gate properly so therefore you get what you get. The days of high fares are over and so went the in flight meals, movies and extra people to work at the gate to satisfy each passenger. You wanted cheap fares ,you got them. shut up or take the bus. try enjoying that! look around you all the people are wearing flip flops, shorts or pajamas, like nothing ever could go wrong or they just might have an emergency and de-board the plane in the rain or snow or on a grassy field where the pilot may have to land. If this is where you fit in shut up whining.Just get in the plane, thank God it's a new one and bless you heart you got a low fare to get to where you are going. The people on the plane are highly trained and have served many a person trying to earn a living also. you just want to get from a to b safely and you probably did. It's a company that is turning a profit for it's share holders and you got to fly on a multi million dollar airplane to go somewhere cheaply. I bet you sat on the armrest instead of the seat at some point,Overstuffed your bag, slammed it the overhead bin,put your feet on the armrest in front of you,or the wall, spilled your drink, pissed on the floor in the lav , didn't wash your hands. leaned on the tray table till it broke, pushed back on the chair so hard that something in the seat broke. did you tell someone you broke it? hell no , you might have to pay for that but instead you broke it ,kept quiet and let the next passenger find it broke and the the company has to spend more money fixing and cleaning all these things you abused or broke.Passengers want so much but don't see what they have done to ruin everything.Have you noticed the decline in the way people even barely dress to go on a flight. next time you fly and you want a cheap fare try understanding what else is going on while you are whining in the terminal waiting on the plane to board. Some asshole may have broken so many things in the plane that they might need time to try and fix it for you! Or clean up your puke because you got sick on the big scary airplane. Ever think what the cost of fuel is for one of these planes? Next time you are negative about something and you want to post it on the web think about someone besides yourself and observe everyone elses position. I work at an airline and it's a bitch to hear all the whining and still try to do a good job. p.s. I BET YOU DIDN'T SERVE IN THE MILITARY EITHER DID YOU? WUSS!

Yikes. I was being a little petulant up there, sure, but I and other passengers were being misled and mistreated. Regardless of how bad a day anyone was having in Atlanta, that's no way to sell tickets.

Anyway, I think you'll find that this is a better place to troll.
