Waxahacie Courthouse: Time Flies

This is the courthouse in Waxahacie, Texas and it's an amazing bit of architecture that was designed and supervised by an imported architect from France.

The story is that he had an affair with a local woman that first made him happy, and then it went sour.

Allegedly, it influenced his design as it progressed. The faces on the building go through transformations from benign to positively evil and I took a few shots to show some of the differences. It's pretty amazing actually.

ALL the courthouse architecture here is great, but this one is definitely a stand out even with such excellence abounding.

Snapshots from my Texas travels for my new job.
