I just turned 12 but was 11 when I made this Bento and my Mom has made Bentos for my lunches for 2 years now. Here is my Spring bento:


In the 1rst photo is the two halves of my bento. the top (left hand one) has a green and orange pepper flower with some extra peppers on the side for decoration. There was a piece of shake 'n bake leftover from the dinner before I made this so I included it. In the little Easter paper container is some olives and some brie cheese (my all-time fave!) beside it.


In the second half (right hand side-I included a close up of this half) is a vegetarian hot-dog heart on an Easter skewer. To make the heart I cut the ends off the hot-dog diagonally and flipped one so it was facing the opposite way and poked the stick through. There is also some deep fried tofu, and beneath all that is Sichuan noodles with a variety of veggies. In a penguin plastic container (its kinda squished) is 2 quail eggs and a baby chick I made just poking up out of his shell. The chick has red pepper eyes and an orange pepper beak. Beside that is a radish mouse complete with ears and tail. The angle is not the best to see the mouse. I added some fun, Easter coloured chopsticks that were made to fit in the lid and a panda elastic.


I had fun creating this Bento and really hope to win.
