yeah thanks, im a sucker for this sort of
lighting and this location, due to teh design
of the city i love, is always perfect for
silhouette shots around sunset.
but i really uploaded it to make s2art and
barb, the two flickrites i had a photowalk
around town with, wish they stayed for
sunset.

i was there for about 5 mins, 3 sets of
officers paused in the alley next to me to
wait for me to take the pic.
a squad car pulled up in front of me, the
officer got out, saw me standing there with a
camera, apologised got back in and moved it
to the other side of the street... he must
have an eye for light and composition.

however with the bush fires and the general
traffic buildup during the week Thursday and
Friday I reckon the sunsets will be awesome
:)

I don't know what it is about this type of
shot but I really do like them and you have
executed it very well indeed, top shot. Also,
nice story about the helpful police.

it's gorgeous ziz, you're giving Hugo a run
for his money. I know where I'll be on my
next day off with the tripod...
