Zipingpu Dam, upriver from the town of Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China. On Wednesday, May 14, 2008, thousands of Chinese troops rushed to plug cracks in the dam in earthquake-hit Sichuan province, but experts later said it was safe.

I drove by there 3 years ago, and had no idea it was near Dujiangyan until I compared I photo I took of the dam with Google Earth. Thankfully the dam seems to be OK. www.flickr.com/photos/kenner116/876129674/in/ set-72157600...
