Needed to get a quick portriat for an ID so i did a quick light setup and backdrop and all. The biggest difficulty was finding the focus as I was all alone.. after many tries tihs is the closest I got and time was against me. My eyes aren't as sharp as i'ld like.. But the lighting is spot on.

Strobist: 430EX camera left at about 1/8th maybe 1/4th Power bounced off the ceiling and using a bounce card to throw a little directly at me.

The soft focus works for the face, but not for the eyes, the lighting is good though.....why so serious......Keep trying, you'll get it!!

i love the way it looks in the buddy icon. i wouldn't have even noticed the issue with the focus if i hadn't come here to find the original. either way, you do good work and you're a handsome man with interesting features - you fit right in with the other pics you have of beautiful people. ;-)
