Bear

This is Bear a.k.a . "Putzie." We adopted him the other day at the local kennel. He's a husky with a bit of malamute in him. He has been treated badly; his previous owner apparently SHAVED his coat; he/she also left him without food. Putzie weighs 61 pounds when his normal weight for his age and bone structure is close to 90 pounds (he's 3 years old). He is the sweetest dog, quiet, obedient, and totally adorable. This is his second day with us and he's already a member of the family. We will nurse him back to health and he's going to be one big, strong, happy puppy!!!

Flowers in the sun

Today was a bright, sunny day. I took this picture of vase flowers around noon as the light came through the window. Loved the colors and the contrast between yellow and red.
