Bye and see you somewhere else :-)
It's time to close this stream. I had become someone who wasn't sure if she was taking pictures for the sake of taking them or for the sake of posting them here.
I'll still keep following your work, I've been doing that all along. And if I ever start another stream you'll know about it, my friends. The smile up there is for you :-)
And thanks for the photo, Ingrid

Car trouble
"Erm... I think there might be something wrong with the engine... either that or the front wheels... not sure..."

Strange Days
This was a strange day. I spent two days in Kuala Lumpur, on my way from Taiwan back to Holland. I liked KL very much, but I was in a weird mood because I was leaving Asia, leaving Taiwan, my home for more than two years, leaving my friends.
The mood of the photo is a bit surreal and that's how it really felt.
This cinematic mood today made me edit the original photo (here) into this.

Seven - They're looking at you!
These seven wide-eyed beauties will be my lunch later today. Seven, on the 7th, of the 7th, etc.
Mom bought them fresh at the market this morning.
And when I say "fresh", I mean they were caught last night, here around the island, not "fresh" as in: they were caught two weeks ago in Japan, then frozen and shipped off, then defrosted in Rotterdam, then loaded onto a truck, frozen again, transported to your country and sold to you, "freshly" defrosted, at your local market.
Feel free to hate me! :D
This photo is part of the 07_07_07 pool. Check out some other photos people from all over the world took on this special day.

Lounging
I love visiting the nursing home in Selca. This is its entire population. Lounging before supper, listening to the Catholic radio prayer program.
Second from the left is my great aunt Nada. 94 and the only one remaining of 11 children that my great grandma Vice had. I love aunt Nada. She's completely lucid, with all her memories in tact. She's got some great stories from WW II and post-war Yugoslavia.
The nursing home is run by an amazing lady, Sister Nada. She runs the place with the kindness of an angel and discipline of a drill sargeant. Her energy is endless. If she weren't a nun I swear I'd think she was on Speed.
