What magic! A beautiful cuckoo clock without clock face or cuckoo ( unless they are on the mysterious Fourth Side-hidden from us like the Dark Side of the Moon) , and with keys for pendulums (or should that be pendula) this is a fascinating object. I remember something in "Alice" about a newt fainting and being revived with peppermint oil- but I can't remember what Alice did to make it faint. What a lovely thing to have on your wall- do you expect to get it back after the exhibition or will it find a new and loving home?

Oh how wonderful! I am afraid, however, that the Canadian postal authorities are not exempt from the term 'bribery,' and have thus managed to 'misdirect' the package to my own home. Alas. Sad that.
These things happen, though.

I think Alice caused the newt to faint by a rather unglamorous and incautious reference to the blue vinyl beads woven into its braided locks....but I could be wrong.

This is so full of wonder, this is! It's far too beautiful to permit Julie to look at, y'know. Block her, if you get the chance. :-)

Absolutely, wonderfully, beautifully cool, this. I had an art professor/friend in college many moons ago, James Russell, a fairly well-known artist in his own right, that turned me on to collage. He did these amazing box assemblage vintage looking things with paper dolls and 40's cigarette ads and things. Your stuff reminds me of his, especially this. I suppose that is what drew me to it...Thank you.

TIFFINI, I am just now seeing that Mr. Frogperson had already descended on your lovely piece here and also left his anti-HaggisVitae crap as well. Whatever you do, do NOT befriend him. I made the mistake and now I'm living in hell, I tells ya! He is very, very bad news and never to be trusted.

He does however, have good taste as shown here, loving this piece of wonder you've created. I always love your things, friend. If you ever have the urge to do some mail art, wherein, I start something, mail to you, you add to it, mail back...etc., let me know. I think we'd make a good team! We could call this team, "Dark Vintage Crazies"...what say? ***HUGS***

I'm in love with these. Wil you have them for sale online? I'm thinking of doing an exhibit in our library of stuff people are making with old books and ephemera. I think some of these would be great.

This is fabulous. How are these lit? Do they have a bulb and connector that work sort of like a nightlight would by plugging directly into an outlet or is there a way to hang them from the ceiling and have them illuminate? I want one! Love all your creations. Where do you find your vintage images?
