This was taken outside the new Soho Rd. Niwas in Amritsar. I don't remember the name of the practice, but my massi tells me that every Friday, people go around all over collecting money and oil for the mandirs.
Usually they're just local residents, but I suppose this kid wanted to dess for the occassion.
It was quite amusing shooting this actually, he never spoke a word and looked as if he didn't really care his picture was being taken. Most kids his age, especially in India, would jump for joy. Maybe I just bored him.
