Confetti Cannon

An explosive shower of streamers and confetti marked the late-April opening of the Newseum at 6th Street and Pennsylvania Ave.

If I'd known that it was going to happen, I would have been standing in front of the building, which would have made for a far better shot. I'm just glad I had enough presence of mind to pull out the camera in time to get this one.
