it reminds me of Ridley Scott's SF classic "Blade Runner", and the title is quoted from a Philip K. Dick novel.

One of my most favourite films - especially the editors cut! I'm not sure this is 'dark' enough to quite do that - the cerise colour permeating is quite something! It's a wonderful image!

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

      soho, いっぱい見過ぎて覚えてない…。電気羊の夢はまだ見たことないです。多分。

Stuart, are you 3amfrom"kyoto" or "tokyo"?

Jei, Ridley Scott took Japan as his inspiration for Blade Runner, but the story set in LA, or in a big city that suggests a Tokyo gone daft.

Maciej, yesss that's the scene flashed into my mind.

Trapac, I know that it's not that "dark", and I'm rather liking it for its defferences. The difference between fiction and reality, in LA circa 2019 and in Tokyo in 2005, the grimy rainy atomospheric night scene and the clear summer daytime shot, a great director and a no-name flickr.

Duane, I have a splinter of a spaceship. I don't know wheather it's from the one you saw, but I'll pass your story down to my sons and daughters with the astrotear I've got.

Yes, Tokyo and London fused, he was also from the North of England where its ALWAYS raining! The design on the film is amazing. Wonder how many architects have been influenced by that vision, chicken and egg effect, which came first, the movie or the city???

It also makes me think of The Man Who Fell To Earth (Nick Roeg). It's a strange world these people live in. But they've got water and we don't. I don't see any replicants, anyway. (Scary but wonderful atmosphere.)
