A: she's not a wild animal. Just try petting a cornered raccoon that was born and still living in the wild verses one born in captivity and raised as a pet and see if you can tell the difference :)

B: she very mellow and agreeable and just as fine with a piece of clothing on as she is a harness.

C: she was more than happy to have me put it on because she figured it meant she could go outside into the cold for a bit. She actually seems to appreciate them to a point long as it doesn't inhibit movement, which I wouldn't want anyway.

the meanest thing i did was make her wait to go out till i got some pictures :P

She obviously hates her life with the evil human and that's why she crawls inside my shirt every night and hugs and kisses and grooms and massages and cuddles all over me.

Better dead than in a cage and touched by humans. Like that polar bear cub in the news, right? that's the way animal rights people think. They'd rather all domestic animals go extinct and we fence our selves off in cities and never even go nature watching. Really look into it.

anyway didn't mean to get political but itzinush started it :P

I'm all for treating animals humanely. I will eat meat though. Other animals do so no reason to declare my self better and not, how speciest. I on the other hand do not consider humans inferior either like has crawled into the minds of so many.

I also see nothing wrong with OWNING a PET. Neither of witch I find dirty words in relation to animals. It's even natural. There are cases of wild animals keeping pets or keeping and using other animals for their own benefit. Ants farming aphids. wild chimps have been known to keep animals(pets) for a time. Even a wild lioness kept baby gazelles as pets till humans came in with their own moral ideas and stopped it.

So yeah how horrible for her she is loved and cared for well fed and still alive all due to being touched by a crummy human, geesh.

Good response!! All you need to do is take a look at your photos to see how you are abusing Pua....she NEVER gets cuddles / toys / walks or food! She never gets to sleep in the bed or have a whole playpen full of toys. She NEVER gets to go to work with you and she is obviously seriously aggressive and unhappy......

If it helps any she wasn't being forced to do anything. She stands up and waves naturally. Though I certainly don't think it cruel to teach an animal to do things with positive reinforcement either.

When she does "run free" in the yard or goes for a walk she always heads right for home (the door of house or shop or car" once done and tired. she'd be pissed at you if you set her "free" and took her pet human away. :)

She didn't have what it takes to survive in the wild. she just wasn't making it, no fault of humans, and wouldn't have survived without intervention. Should she have been "rehabbed" and set free her weak genes would have just polluted the gene pool before she once again went down hill. Rehab of animals wounded or ill at the fault of humans is different.

I agree on your response, I think she is a happy girl. But I don't agree in eating meat because animals do so. Animals have no choide if they want to survive. People put animals in small cages and feed them fat in a matter of weeks and then kill them for theur consumption. That's a difference. Also people are omnivores so they don't have to eat meat.

thanks Katten I do agree humans are omnivores. If a person is to eat meat or have animals that do so like cats and dogs then it's best to buy your meat locally or through certain programes that buy from small local farms so you know how the animals were raised and treated and support the small farms that don't keep them stuck in small cages. It's also an advantage to feeding a home made diet you know where the meat and other ingredients your pets are eating are coming from.

I don't have a problem with anyone choosing to not eat meat it just tends to go hand in hand with the extremists that want to ban exotic pets(and their real goal to ban all animals if you look into what the leaders say), not that all vegetarians are that way just that most of those that would keep me from having Pua are. Sorry to have gone so far off topic with that.

I'm a bit touchy when people say that sort of thing that I shouldn't have Pua because it's not just an opinion, it's sort of a threat, laws are being passed banning animals all the time, exotics, breeds of dogs, even certain types of cats. so it's important for me to say something so people will think about both sides next time some ban law comes up in their area or state if they haven't already been passed.

In the pic she was begging to go out. In the video she is waiting for her food the thaw in the microwave and saying bring it here now, lol. She does it when she wants something even if it's just to get me to come be with her.

By the way, I'm a vegetarian and I have no problem with you keeping her as a pet; she is obviously loved and well-cared for. I'm actually pretty fascinated - how did you end up with her?
