O Canada

I have to say, this is the most iconically Canadian thing I've seen all day! My house turned into parade central because the Old Strathcona parade went right down our street, and turned into a dance party in the street after. More pics to come soon!

The swallow that lives with me thinks that all of Canada is celebrating her tenth birthday. After all, being the world's oldest violet-green swallow is a pretty big deal.
