North York Moors in low light.

View as big as possible.
The moors in this sort of light become something special. This is two hand held shots one exposed for the sky and one for the foreground. Then aligned and treated with hdr.

Alan, you big tease! I really dont know, a wild guess would be The Sheepwash near Osmotherly, or Hob Hole near Weserdale. Having said that there are hundreds of beautiful little streams on the moors just like this and each one is as beautiful and romantic as the next.

This image has a lovely mood to it, that moorland magic I try to capture too! You've taken this at just the right time of day to get that dreamy `atmosphere'. Nice work!

Sorry Rob, I couldn't resist, it's a place I and you must have driven by many times. It's on the road between Hutton-le-Hole and Rosedale, I believe it's called Loskey Beck. I shouldn't tease really, I know you know the moors far better than I do.
It was a bit on the dull side, I didn't want to travel far so I decided on the moors and doing more water shots. I was walking back, dripping wet, and the sun attempted to break through. I realised I had a chance of one of those delicious low light shots that you do.
