Upended clint.. it's a sign.

Guess I haven't got much new to post.. I took this a while back at Norber Erratics.. the limestone pavment around here is very fragmented, this piece had broken off and got upended... is it a sign?, well yes the walking can be very uneven and the rocks can be sharp, be careful :-)

Freddie Gilroy.

I've crudely done this cut out but I think it works..

A steel sculpture by Ray Lonsdale called 'Freddie Gilroy and the Belsen Stragglers' depicts an old man sitting and looking out to sea...

I like his work that I've seen so far :-)

I think these statues are brilliant, so well crafted.. looking at the structure of the face I'm guessing a computer and a laser profile cutter was used.. still looks great. Created by Ray Lonsdale, artist, fabricator and sculptor :-)

I've chosen to use hdr for this shot ..
