Pandav falls is about an hour's drive from #khajuraho somewhere inside the Panna National Park. "You want to grab some snacks for the way?" Our rickshaw driver asked as he stopped in front of a small shop. There's nothing to eat from here on. "We'll be entering the forest."

 

We were warned beforehand, and were sure our reserves would last us till we were back.

 

We stopped at a restaurant run by the state tourism department on our way back. We were the only diners there - what else could we expect at the edge of a forest that's home to some wild cats!

 

We weren't sure if there was any food in the house. As it turned out, there was, and it was quite nice and served well.

 

This restaurant, quite literally in the middle of nowhere, was definitely great value for money!
